Miles Conrad creates paintings, sculpture, and immersive environments exhibited nationally. His work was featured in the 2017 Whitney Biennial in participation with the Occupy Museums Collective in the Debt Fair Project. He received the Tucson Museum of Art, Contemporary Art Society ’Award of Excellence’ for his work in the Arizona Biennial 2011. Miles currently works from a studio granted by the Artist-In-Residence program at Process Museum in Tucson, Arizona.

Miles earned his BFA from CalArts in 1992 and his MFA from San Francisco Art Institute in 2009. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Encaustic Artists Association in 2016.

For 13 years, he has presented comprehensive workshops locally and nationally, teaching students innovative techniques for working with encaustic.

Miles  served as the founding director of Conrad Wilde Gallery from 2005-2018. The gallery is host to innovative exhibitions in Tucson as well as at several international art fairs in Los Angeles, New York and Miami. He serves as a private career consultant to artists nationwide.
